Millsummit’s #ArtShots is an initiative to showcase local artistic talent in a fun and spontaneous way. These pop-up events are held at various locations throughout Delaware, but the details are only announced 24-48 hours prior to the event. Three successful #ArtShots events have already happened in Wilmington. The most recent event, held at the Delaware Historical Society right here on Market Street, featured artists Eunice LaFate of LaFate Gallery live painting and Delaware Poet Laureate, Al Mills of Twin Poets reciting some of his work.
The fourth #ArtShots event is happening this Thursday, March 29 at 6PM featuring the local improv troupe Fearless Improv of the City Theater Company! Scenes are based on audience suggestions, so you’ll be part of the show too! The event location, which will be somewhere in downtown Wilmington, will be disclosed in advance to those who register to attend and to the general public on social media 24-48 hours prior to the event.

The idea for #ArtShots came out of the annual #MillSummit last year. The Millennial Summit is the region’s premier experience where young professionals, impact players, rising stars, and innovators come together to connect and grow. #MillSummit inspires attendees to speak up and get involved with their community, grow professionally, and connect with visionaries and innovators who are moving the needle.
